...DID'JA

?
WELL, that's because my family and I came home just less than a day early. We weren't supposed to be back 'til Sunday morning, but, well, we discovered that a houseboat was waaayyy too stressful for our family, especially with literally no personal space, so the entire thing kind of...backfired.
SO NOW I'M HOME.
Yeah. It was still really fun, though. Loading onto the boat was...brutal. To say the least .__.;. But once we got on, it was cool. We drove around the bigass lake until we found a nice quiet place, and I got to swim in muddy, plant&rock-infested lake water. Which was awesome. The slide was STEEP, though. I went off after my entire family encouraged me, got water in my nose, sunk about four feet underwater, but it was awesome. I even opened my eyes. They stung a little, and all I saw was green. And my hand. Which was green.
Naturally, even after putting on several gallons of sun screen, I still burned red as a lobster. My shoulders and right elbow are in extreme agony right now, but I don't really care |D.
That night, we watched Finding Nemo and I got to talk to my cousin for the first time since Christmas, which was totally fun. She's writing books, and, to my surprise, she's got some REALLY good ideas! I can't tell you any of them, though.
How can I trust anyone with my stories if they can't trust me with theirs?
Writer's Honor, y'know

.
Soyeah. I also discovered that my cousin has some sanity left in her, even after her overdramatic mother and too-cool father, PLUS the craptastic school children that roam her education. She actually agreed with me when I told her that, even if she and I are physically prepared for...reproducing, we aren't mentally. Which kind of surprised me, because she's allowed to date at sixteen (even though she already has a boyfriend, don't ask me, I don't get it either), but... Yeah, I'unno. I thought it was kinda cool.
I also got to babble about Vincent and my current publish-worthy story that you don't know anything about, so now I'm very happy

.
Later that night, there was a lot of drama, though, for reasons I'm not entirely aware of. It was nuts, though. It was last night that we decided this was way too hard, so we'd leave this morning.
Leaving. Was. Miserable.
SURE, I got to ride around the lake again, which will never stop being cool ever, but the actual packing was INSANE. I swear it had to be at least a hundred and ten out there, which is really high for my Californian self ;_____;. It was horrible. I was able to make two trips from and to the boat before my head honest to God felt like it was either going to melt out my ears or just explode.
Worst. Headache. Of. My life.
My uncle was really upset about leaving early, because of the waste of money - which makes sense. But hey, a lot of the money spent was on food, which we were able to bring home. We all have enough to last our three families, like, a flipping week. The only real waste was the day's parking and boat-stay, but still.
I'm glad I'm home, though. Fun as it was, it was also really crazy. Plus, I didn't like all the spiders and bugs. They thought I was candy or something, seriously.
Good thing I had BUG REPELANT

.
Ofcourse it smelled horrible. I was choking on it ;__;. But at least I didn't get biten.
Except they ganged up inside my sandals, the little whores D:.
Oh, I also discovered that my cousin's (the druggie I haven't talked to in years) little brother is on his way to becoming a serial killer. Considering he stabbed his sister in the eye with a fork and has threatened to kill people. He's eleven, so his mother thinks it's "cute," thus not doing anything about it and even ENCOURAGING him. /HEADDESK
Nnrgh. I wasn't as fond of my younger cousin, though, because he was insane the few times I got to see him. He ran over my foot with a chair, once, leaving me limping for the rest of the day. Ofcourse, I can't recall if it was an accident or not, but he didn't apologize regardless, and then seemed offended when I refused to talk to him DX;;.
My cousins scare me. A lot. I keep telling myself that there's something I could have done to stop them from turning out like this, but, well, no, there's not. There's nothing I could have done that their parents couldn't, so there. I'll accept the reality of it, but that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it |D.
Overall, though, it was pretty cool. I heard bats. Missed all the stars, though, but it's an hour and fifteen minutes away - if I ever need to see thousands of stars, I know where to go xD.
ANYWAYS I'M SO GLAD TO BE HOOOME. I missed you guys ;__;.
I also found a song that is literally the core of Leonardo and Daisuke's relationship - AND IT'S NOT ON IMEEM.

They say you can't get to know a person 'till you crawl into their shoes and walk around in them. Well, I tried that, but it only made me realize they had very big feet.
